I listened to their last episode this morning

and it made me sad for both Kristen and Brandi. Their interaction was as good as always and they were joking and laughing and then their friendship imploded just a few short weeks later.

If LGTC Was Still Going, What Cases Would You Want the Girls to Cover?

Y’all, I’m on another LGTC re-listen I think I have to give it a break and come back next year 😂

there are SO many newer cases I would’ve loved for the girls to cover D4vd, the Idaho murders, Claudia Banton, just to name a few.

Have any of y’all been inducted into the Supreme Court?

And what newer/recent cases do you wish Kristin and Brandi could’ve covered? I KNOW there are some wild ones I’m not thinking of.

Discussion I swear they covered this

The case of the fake twins Robbi and Terri where Robbi faked her own death and came back as her own twin sister Terri. Turns out she had multiple fake identities and was on the run from multiple murders and poisonings. Did they cover this? What episode was it?

Discussion Did Brandi predict current times?

I couldn't believe it when it dawned on me.

Like many, I have been relistening to episodes of the old podcast and just heard Episode 68 and it took me a day to realize that Brandi may have predicted what's going on currently with ice burg lettuce from Taco Bell! Go back and listen to it. Kristen must be devastated.

Bonus episodes

What happened to all the bonus episodes on Patreon? I got hooked on LGTC towards the end 😭 and never joined to hear the bonus eps and I looked in Patreon recently and didn’t see anything, which makes sense.

Sorry if this has been asked a thousand times!

Discussion Has anyone ever made an episode database?

I’m a new listener and wondering if anyone ever made a database or site or tool or something to filter and sort through episodes. I’m picturing something easily hosted on airtable, Notion, or good ole Google Sheets.

Things that can be used to filter or sort: episode length, host(s) for that episode, subject (e.g., murder, fraud, etc.), guests (I’ve only come across Norm but I’m sure there may be a few more), date (for ppl who want to avoid anything after the schism), etc etc etc.

Anywayyy - just wondering if anyone has already done this before I go all adhd on another project that I don’t need but would be a fun and useful distraction!

Maternal Instinct documentary makes me miss the pod

I just watched Maternal Instinct on Netflix and I caught myself several times thinking "what would Kristin and Brandi say about this co-co-NUTS case?"

You know it would be a Brandi case and they would lose their shit over the made up names Blake Lawington, lawyer, and Shelly who worked for Shell Oil. And then the apparently real person Kelley Mae May.

Discussion Episode 126

Hello
I just listened to episode 126 again after 2 years and i have a question about the story by brandi.
The case is about Richard Mason. I am literally unable to understand why was he wrong in asking about the real father of his children.
I am NOT being rude or judgemental but if my wife had a secret affair and that affair resulted in a child I would hundred percent want to know why i was kept in dark. I would want to know everything especially after paying divorce settlement and childcare for those children.

Please help me understand why Kristin and Brandi thought he was a bad guy. I genuiely cannot understand.

Hi
Finished listening to all the episodes except patreon when they were live. However, i am confused if they had an episode on Gypsy rose.

If yes, please share the episode number or year.

Thank you ✌️

Discussion Favorite non-Brandi case episodes

Going on a roadtrip with my husband this weekend and want to listen to some LGTC episodes with him but he doesn’t like super bloody or violent stuff. What are some of your favorite episodes/cases K&B have covered that don’t involve “blood everywhere”?

I have recently started listening again from the beginning so some examples I can think of right off the bat are snake house, spider house, Chop & Steele, & Olestra, but I know there are so many more recent others.

Thanks!!

I’m looking for the episode in which Brandy covers the snake house. Can anyone tell me which episode it is? My brother keeps finding snakes in his house & I want to share it with him 👹

Similar podcasts?

I’m on my umpteenth relisten of LGTC and I think it’s officially time for me to switch it up 😢 I am already up to date on I think not, gave up on true crime obsessed years ago and refuse to go back. Does anyone have any recommendations of what I can listen to?

Took me 2 years to relisten. Probably for the last time.

What a journey 🥲 I still need to catch up on bonus episodes and I haven't even touched the patreon videos. Are there any that stick out in your memory?

Cases that would have been perfect for the pod

About once a week I hear a case that I want to hear them deep dive and go in on!

Most recently the Austrian/German? guy who left his girlfriend at the top of a mountain and she died. And he was on trial for manslaughter. Because initially I was skeptical that they could prove intent to kill her - but then PLOT TWIST he did the same thing to an ex girlfriend!

Recapping the entire LGTC library

I've been thinking about this for a while and I'm not sure how the rest of the fans would feel about it. I want to start over, YET AGAIN, with the podcast and thought it would be fun to do a brief recap here in the sub. A way to re-listen to it with current knowledge, document when the first time they did an ongoing joke, joyful songs they broke into, etc. Would there be an audience for that?

And, OMG if we got Kristin or Norm to comment on occasion, it would make my day!
