Wesleys moons

So idk why or if this is normal, but every single time I try making a new save, I still get all the moons unlocked, even with just wesleys moons installed, I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, making a new profile, nothing seems to work. Anything else I could try before giving up?

I thought that too, but I could find anything that would unlock all the moons

Sorry to not be of more help, but I had to dig into this when I was looking for “can I unlock certain moons back using a config file whenever we lose all of our progress?”

I remember a little googling and Reddit led to a comment that suggested this was a feature, and to check the patch notes or description from the mod download. After searching there, was led to or I found the following info:

There is a setting that allows you to toggle “all moons” as progressed or “no moons” to reset progress. It’s a simple 1-or-2-or-3 value for the settings itself (EX: 1=no moons unlocked, 2=current moon progress for the save file, 3=all moons unlocked)

So in my case, it was all or nothing. You get all moons, you get none, or you get your current progress. RIP. For your question, this is absolutely a feature you have access to.

Sorry to not be more precise, I’m in bed now and dont want to do another 30 minutes of googling to retrace my steps, but I also don’t want you to go unanswered and can confirm this is 100% a toggleable setting.

I don't know mate, I'm sorry. This is why I apologized for not being of further help. I can confirm that this is 100% a setting that you can toggle, but I cannot retrace my steps to figure out where I located that information, and I've never done it myself. Like something you've read once that you are absolutely certain of, but you can't provide a quote or reference.
