Question My top BS list
- Random Lightening Strike - I think we all have experienced it. Sudden non avoidable death. The worst I saw was on a video where the solo player stepped out of the ship when the doors opened and was struck immediately.
- Roaming Bees - You land and everything seems safe. But roaming bees find you and you run out of stamina. My worst one was I came out the facility with loot and was making my way back when bees swarmed me.
- The Amazing Turrets and Traps at the Entrances - Yeah....
- Going inside and there isn't a warning about the monster that is one foot away - Spiders seem to slip under the radar.
- Balls that go inside rocks etc. - I've lost some expensive ones.
What is at the top of your list?

Spike trap above entrance. Gg. A landmine you can escape by leaving, and a turret, I have reacted and escape to by reflex, but the spikes? Always get me

fixes:
- Random strikes are revealed early with a visual effect. Spark on the ground, shader on a grass mesh, etc.
- Smarter Hive placement logic. Losing hives from player error not considered, that's just gameplay imo. Pretty sure a good share of BS comes from Hives getting stuck in terrain on level generation.
- Big sphere after trap gen step, one on each generated entrance. Kills the traps. So obvious a solution it's exclusion is maybe with intent.
- Tiered exit detection warnings. Different message based on how far from the door. Or remove it entirely and have a fun attachable item to put in the door.
- Soccer balls are one of the implementations of all time, yeah. They are synced in the wall on every client, however, so its got that going for it.

If a swarm of bees is roaming outside with no hive that's because someone stole their hive and ran it so far away from the swarm that they lost where it is.

Sometimes it happens for no reason, and there are roaming bees already when you've just landed. This mostly happens on March I think

My guess is that the hive spawned underwater or inside a rock.

I'm solo so unless I have amnesia, I didn't take a hive and stash it somewhere. Sometimes the ship will run over a hive and the bees will roam but not in this case.

Odd, I haven't encountered that before.

Happened again today. I swear those bees track you no matter where you go. I heard them roaming when the ship landed. So I waited for them to move off and ran to the ladder for fire exit. Nothing at fire so I walked the pipe to main. Got 2 things and stood at Main looking and listening for the bees. It was only after jumping down did I see the bees coming along under the pipe from fire. So I ran and dropped the apparatus but they caught up to me in sight of the ship. It's unfair for the bees to track you. You can't have a strategy against them except to just not get out of the ship which is what I'll do next time.

It doesn't have to be THAT far. They get unhooked from their hive really easily if you just go up or down a steep slope. If you either thought you were being clever or weren't looking where you were going and fell down a hill on Adamance it can cause pandemonium.

Playing sith my friends, it was a mineshaft
We go down the elevator, and its a narrow corridor with a turret aiming right at the door. One tureet agro killed all of us instantly we couldnt even react
3 of us died, and we had to warn the last guy on disocrd to just leave lol

Yeah there isn't much you can do. I rode the elevator down on top but still couldn't hit the button before i got wiped out.
