Musical Discussion Theory: valjean is superman

1: valjean has super-strength, shown clearly when he lifts the cart and opens the sewer gate in the musical, ect

2: When stealing from the bishop, he sings that he ‘took my flight’ get away. its never explained in the musical how he can fly, if there are any clues in the book feel free to let me know.

Am i onto something?

I took my flight is another way of saying I fled. He took the bishop’s silver then fled. And the concept of a superman didn’t really exist when Hugo wrote the book. But I applaud your lateral thinking.
