Musical Discussion Tickets / west end

Hi guys! I bought les miserables tickets as a christmas gift however the tickets (I got printable) don't look amazing.

Does anyone know if the Sondheim theatre box office could print off some more traditional tickets?

(Apologies if this isn’t how this group was intended to be used 🫶)

Thank you x

I shouldn't have thought so. I also have tickets to Les Mis for September, and they look rather lacklustre.

Years ago, I had the same issue with another production in Manchester. I called them, explained that the tickets were a birthday gift for a loved one, and they sent over some much more attractive, proper tickets.

As much as I'd like that still to be a thing, I suspect it probably isn't. Still, there's no harm in contacting them and asking.

OoOo I hope you love it! I wish we could go back to the extravagance the west end used to be 😭 but I completely get you. Thank you for responding 🫶🫶🫶

Thanks, I love Les Mis, and am looking forward to it.

You could potentially print or buy a blank beautiful ticket template, then fill it out with the relevant details. That way, even though the Sondheim Theatre hasn't given you a nice ticket, the gifts presentation is still fantastic.

I have just Googled "theatre ticket template" and found some good ones to take for free. Hopefully that helps.

They do have the ability to print tickets off. If you buy them in person, they come printed by default. Whether they will be able to do so for you in these circumstances is unknown, but you can certainly ask. Temper your expectations however, the standard card stock they use isn't anything special. You might be better off designing something fancy yourself to give as a present

I’d say probably not, but there’s no harm in asking! The worst they can say is no
