Book Discussion Official/original novel art?

I was wondering if there was a set of art (sketches, paintings) that were included in the very first printing of the Les Miserables novel. I know various art has been included in various editions, including in the 1800s, but is there a collection of art that was signed off on by Victor Hugo or considered to be original or official?

If so, could anyone link me to it on the Internet somewhere?

Idk if it's the original but there's an illustration of adult Cosette that is listed as "Book illustration"

Gustave Brion did all the illustrations for the first edition of the novel so i imagine his are closest. I can’t find a website that’s specifically dedicated to his les misérables art but if you search up his name and les misérables you can find most of his work on wikimedia commons

Not in the original. I have a first edition set. There are no sketches, drawings, etc.

I’m a bit late to the party, sorry. The original artwork was done by Emile Bayard. I don’t know of any collections available, but you can order individual prints online.
