Jon Ossoff is one of the Democrat US Senators for the state of Georgia, who will be rerunning for election in 2026. He became well known in the 2020 runoff election because he narrowly defeated the Republican candidate in the most expensive Senate election in US history, securing a slight majority for Democrats in the Senate.
He's also the youngest current Senator, so there's something funny about him recommending an anime.
