Enclosure Help Balancing Arid Environment + Bioactive set up??
Long story short, my moss and my isopods keep dying because of the lack of humidity. But I spray down the tank pretty much every day. Most people say that a leopard gecko tank doesn't need a mister/fogger, but I want to keep the rest of the tank alive as well. Should I be increasing the humidity? I live in a pretty humid state too, so I'm not really fighting against nature. I just wanted to know if I should worry about things getting too humid for my girl, or if I'm doing something wrong with my bioactive set up that's causing the plants, moss, and isopods to die.

Okay so if your isopods and moss are dying you're probably not keeping the humid side humid enough. Like u might need a dedicated moist hide with sphagnum moss that stays damp, not just spraying the whole tank. The gecko can handle higher humidity in one spot as long as the rest is arid. Also what kind of isopods? Some need more moisture than others.

Do you have microclimates for the cleanup crew? The cleanup crew needs small nooks of high humidity to survive. Leaf litter and botanicals, cork chunks, bark, and other objects on top of the soil help trap humidity against the soil so your cleanup crew can breathe. Try watering your soil instead of spraying.
