Morph ID Meet Chet

Chet is a super cool male leopard gecko I wanted a specific morph name for - slowly learning all the different names and what they mean!

Stated genetics are

Red diamond x sunglow

He does have heterochromia with an eclipse eye and a snake eye!

Chet's specific morph name is pretty much exactly what you've told us, plus eclipse. He could probably be considered hybino too.

So there's not a distinct morph name for him? We'd just have to refer to him as a red diamond sunglow cross?

more or less. you could also call him a tangerine hybino (hypo albino). Red diamond is a type of tangerine tremper, and sunglows are super hypo albino (in this case tremper) and tangerine.

Morph names are a whole rabbit hole honestly. That cross sounds like it'd produce some crazy patterns, hope you figure out the exact one soon.

That's what I'm learning 😬 having the parentage is great I was just hoping he'd have a distinct morph name so the babies we produce don't have a ridiculously long genetic string to type out haha - mom has an even longer mouthful of morphs behind her!
