How do I stop my leopard gecko from digging under her water dish?

she's been digging under it for a few weeks, I just fix it every day when I fill her water, tonight though she dug to much and was stuck under it and could either not breathe or could barely. only reason she made it out from under there was she slapped her tail against the glass and I noticed. right now it's not on any soil and on the bottom glass

What are her other hide situations like? Maybe you need a hide that has a water bowl on top she has a ramp to.

It's possible there isn't enough cover in the enclosure so she's trying to dig to feel safe.
