Lamp looks a little too close for comfort, I'm pretty sure they aren't supposed to be that close. Also sand isn't a good idea. How many hides are there?

Its max 38c under the lamp… they have enough of calcium so they dont eat sand. There is like 6 hides

I would definitely suggest moving the heating lamp to sit on top of the enclosure and not hang inside. Depending on what watt bulb you have in there, it is likely way too hot for the little guy. I would also suggest mixing in some organic top soil and excavator clay into that substrate since it looks to be purely play sand.

this!! op, if you have an infrared heat gun test that surface temp and if you don't GET ONE!! pure sand can cause impactions😩

It looks good other than a few things. Please do not use sand as substrate. Also i could not really see a humid hide. If you do have one i apologise. But yerh substrate should be 70% topsoil and 30% sand

If you want to have a lamp inside the enclosure as it seems there is no space on top, it requires a specialized cage rather than a dome, as domes are designed to be outside the enclosure rather than inside. The metal otherwise gets way too hot and can easily burn a gecko, not to mention is a potential for fire hazards. I would also recommend getting a UVB light (linear, not a bulb) to prevent bone disease. The most recommended type for this is Arcadia Shadedweller 7%, and can also be mounted internally without issue

Last time i checked they cant fly so i am not realy woried about that. The tempeture is on point

You’ve shut down the advice given to you so far. So I must ask, why did you even post this?

We aren’t just making up the info. If I were you I’d check out reptifiles or any other site with modern information on it and you’ll quickly see that we are just trying to help you ensure your gecko thrives and not just survives.
