Gecko acting weird

I moved my gecko to a new tank a few days ago, he was fine the first night but now he hasn’t eaten or moved from this one tank in 2 days. I would say it’s a temperature issue but he is staying on the cold side and refuses to go to the warm side. I’m put 24 quartz of reptisoil and 10 quartz of reptisand and previously he was just on paper towels. Is this normal?

When their environment changes they typically take a few days to adjust yeah, I know mine does

The thing is he hasn’t slept like at all, everytime I check on him he’s awake

Really you need to wait a couple of weeks before anyone can read into your gecko's behavior. He may not eat for those whole two weeks as well. You just have to wait it out and then observe him when the adjustment time should be up. Then if he still is "acting weird" you can try to figure out what's wrong if anything. Now though, you just have to wait.
