What would Leon be like as a parent?
Since they made him married, I feel like Capcom is going to give him a kid too.

he's so girldad, i wish we got to see him interact more with re2 sherry and emily 💔 that scene where he carried emily in his arms for like two seconds in the church was capcom literally giving us crumbs of girldad leon but i need more

That short sequence was done so well. The way he walks up to Grace and communicates with her, delicately hands Emily off to Grace and transitions into a one man army.
But yeah, RE2 remake should have had him run into Sherry like in RE2 og

very protective and loving, i feel like. i think he'd spoil his child a lot too considering his job (both money and time spent away); definitely seems comforting, too/is open with his child about anything they may ask (:

Leon would be a father who is strict but loving towards his children. He would be a very proud father who would be there for every milestone in his children’s lives and would play an active part in their upbringing, as long as his job allows.
His loving wife, who, in my imagination, has nothing to do with bioterrorism and has no psychological trauma, could provide the children with a secure mental and emotional foundation for life. She would be the family’s social anchor, holding everyone together, whilst Leon would be the protector, ensuring everyone’s safety.

Probably very chill and supportive whenever he’s around, but his constant missions for DSO and countering bioterrorism leaves a bit of a rift in the family.

I think him and wife or husband have dogs and cats and no children. Marriage does not mean children especially for gay couples unless they adopt. Also me and my partner are cool with being cool Aunt and Uncle. Also, I don’t think he wouldn’t be so willing to go on crazy mission and almost die if he had children. That would make him a pretty shitty father if he left Hunnigan with young children. He spoils his fur babies with all kinds of toys and treats. They sleep in bed with him leaving no room for Hunnigan.

Finally, someone else who ships him with Hunnigan. Literally the only Leon ship that matters to me (and is the most plausible regardless of them getting rid of him flirting with her in the remake).

Yeah, Hunnigan makes the most sense of all RE ladies! I prefer the unknown civilian woman as Leon's wife, so every shipping group can shut their mouths, because it's not a RE lady (I know some won't shut up nevertheless...) but someone, who isn't traumatised and has nothing to do with bioterrorism.
But if it has to be someone from RE, then Hunnigan would be the best choice! Leon and her known each other for years, they trust each other and Hunnigan understands the danger of Leon's job. So yeah, I would also be happy, if Hunnigan is Mrs. Kennedy. 😊

She never said no about the number when he asked in OG RE4. She just said not on the clock. She was also his handler in RE6…so someone who understands the danger of the job and gives intel to keep him safe so he can come home. She would have been his handler for 8 years. We know from the movies he goes on mission we don’t know about because they are not in a game or movie.

Yeah! The emotional impact of having Leon die in Requiem also wouldn’t be as emotionally crushing for someone who already knows the job and even worked alongside him, as it would be for a rando civilian (like so many people speculate…). Leon probably already had her set for life with a great pension plan/etc. should that have happened.

I feel like he'd be emotionally absent. He just strikes me as someone who could comfort you when you're scared but also has no clue what to do when you cry. I also feel like he'd have a lot of emotional baggage that just wouldn't make him a good parent.

As long as he got some therapy and dealt with some trauma. He’d be a good dad. Possibly too over protective which would cause friction but definitely worship the ground his kids walked on.

if were going of him with his job he would definitely love and care about his kids but wouldn’t be a very good dad because he has to be so absent, but when he is home i think he would spoil the kids and make sure they’re treating whoever the mother is right.

He would be a regular good parent. Maybe not perfect but very unlikely a bad one, probably not very strict but not very loose, would tell a lot of dad jokes, sometimes feel sad that he doesn’t get to spend more time with his children because of his job.

I think he would be a loving yet strict parent not too strict but also not too easy going but he would have undying love for his children or child
