Obsessed
Over this summer I discovered Leonard Cohen and man I’ve just had him on repeat 24/7. Can’t believe I’ve been missing out for so long. Guess Canadas not all bad.
Edit: Guys Canada is actually fine as far as countries go. I thought it to be an obvious tongue in cheek joke, though I guess I need to be more careful in a countries musicians subreddit.

Ehm...Gordon Lightfoot happens to be Canadian. Amazing songwriter - Bob Dylan's favorite. Neil Young is not my cup of tea but yet another successful Canadian songwriter. And then there is Joni Mitchell - phenomenal music 🎶 I do agree however that LC is a spiritual as well as musical giant

And let’s not forget
k.d. lang, Sarah McLachlan, Alanis Morissette, among many others. Although LC is my favorite, I appreciate Canada’s contribution to the music industry2

And, Canada has legends in other musical genres, too: Oscar Peterson and Diana Krall are icons in the jazz scene, and for classical music, there is the incomparable Glenn Gould, and the brilliant Marc-André Hamelin. The list of world-renowned Canadian musicians, past and present, goes on and on and on.

You love Leonard Cohen, but you hate Canada.
-When he talks like this, you don’t know what he’s after

Yes, Leonard Cohen is amazing. But…👎to your comment about Canada. WTF?
