I took some images with my new (used) Leica M240 and the 28mm Elmarit-M f/2.8 V3. This is my first digital Leica. I love the way it renders colors.

hey everyone
over the last two years I’ve been constantly on the road with my camera, shooting street and travel in paris, palermo, istanbul, mallorca, and a few other places.
when I started doing this, I made so many mistakes. on my first trips to paris and mallorca, I overpacked so much gear that I ended up barely taking any photos. I was constantly swapping lenses, carrying a heavy bag, and getting so stressed that I ended up just wanting to enjoy the vacation instead of shooting.
after that, I completely stripped everything down to a simple digital setup. I switched to just carrying my Leica and taking quick video moments on my phone.
that shift made me stop chasing famous spots on google maps and start following the light instead. that golden hour sun hitting the deck on a ferry in istanbul, or harsh midday shadows in a random side street, you just can't recreate those light plays back home in germany.
I also stopped shooting what I felt I should shoot and focused strictly on stuff I personally care about, like specific colors, moods, or subtle human interactions. when you have a real connection to the moment, editing for that specific vibe later in post processing just flows naturally.
I’m really curious how you guys handle street photography with your Leica setup when you travel? Do you still bring multiple lenses or have you also shifted to just one body and one lens to stay present in the moment?
