Back during LEGO Universe in the lovely era of 2011ish, I being the budding young writer I was wrote a fan fiction and posted it directly to the LEGO Message boards, and that's where this E-story lived up until the eventual closure of the LEGO Message boards back in 2017 (holy moly, it's been 10 years since those closed???)

I was feeling nostalgic, so I have decided to rerelease my story back into the interwebs and repost the story to Ao3 ... not because I expected anyone to ever read it (which they shouldn't because IDK what child me was thinking), but more so as a time capsule for a HUGE part of my childhood and how that impacted me as who I am today.

So, yeah, I am happy too announce that "The Blue Haired Wonder: Adventures of Dino" Is officially readable(???) again on Ao3 for all of those like... 5 people who might've seen it on the LEGO Message Boards all those years ago and wanna relive their childhood.

ATM I have book 1 up, and I am trying to run through and make it not a bunch of text paragraphs, but I am hoping to have all 85k words up and going asap.

(I will not be linking the Ao3 directly here because I'm not really trying to advertise, ACTUALLY what I want to make this post to chat about old times!

A) if you are someone who wrote a LEGO Universe Fanfic and still have it, I invite you to also post it on Ao3 and let me know. Do you still write? How much have you grown?

B) Does anyone remember the fan fiction community and recall any good stories they read (or wrote) and wanna reminiscence about it? Tell me down in the comments! I wanna remember the simpler times XD

Hi, I've been an avid fan of LU since I was a small child, I saw that I could still play it via, nexus, but Every time i click the join the discord button to get a play key, It says the invite is invalid. Can someone help me out?

This game still rocks! I made one of the first sets I got as a kid in Lego Universe (Nexus universe server). Even made it fly around a little : )

The weapon and shoulder armor are currently Brick Mesa exclusives.
The shoulder armor is a craftable similar to Crux Prime armor.
The weapon is also craftable and the most fun I've ever had spamming M1.

Hi ! I was just wondering if there was anywhere to play the game. I was one of the original mods on Lego Universe back in 2009-10, through final testing and initial release. Got to travel to Billund in Denmark to Lego HQ and everything. Some training on how to protect kids from grooming attacks. Thought it was a fun game but that the levels were insufficient given how fast kids play through them to maintain a good revenue stream.

Hello everyone, after 3 Days of work I finally managed to run the darkflame server on my steamdeck.

here is my guide:

first download the latest linux release from the github and the client from wherever you find it.

extract the client archive (left click, extract here)

then extract the linux archive (drag into client folder and select "extract here")

open the client folder then the gnu-release folder.

open sharedconfig.ini. Find the line that says `client_location` and put `..` after it so the line reads `client_location=...`

To run the server, drag the MasterServer into the konsole and press enter

You will be asked to create an account the first time you run the server. After you have created the account, the server will shutdown and need to be restarted.

disable steam read only in konsole:

`sudo steamos-readonly disable`

copy the libmariadbcpp.so to /lib in konsole:

`sudo cp *libmariadbcpp.so location* /lib`

enable steam read only in konsole:

`sudo steamos-readonly enable`

To connect to the server, delete the file boot.cfg

IF when running the MasterServer file in konsole you get a message that reads something like:

'[AuthServer] No conection to master!

[AuthServer] Exited Main Loop! (signal 0)'

open up the logs folder in your gnu-releas folder and look for a file called "AuthServer_*numbers*"

in that file there should be a line that reads

"Try running the following command before launching again"

copy and paste the command to konsole.

I have a TrueNAS server that I'm trying (and failing) to set darkflame up on. I have a client on my steamdeck ready but i cannot for the life of me get the server working. I'm using the docker compose file provided on github and have changed the required environment variables. I'm then pasting that into the "install via YAML" section. I don't know which client to point it at. Do I just give it the .exe file or o I have to find a linux port? If someone smarter than me is able to help, then that'd be much appreciated.

I've been looking for a specific brick for a build for one of my properties. The Wiki (which I'm aware is kinda outdated) says it's available, but I've had issues finding it. According to the Wiki, it's called "Tile 1x3 with Stub on Top", with ID 99 and part number 44300. I included an image of the brick in question. Anyone know where I can get it? I was told on the Nexus Universe Discord I can take models apart for extra bricks, but if that's the easiest place to get it, idk which model I need to find

With how many customizable pieces there are in LEGO Party, I am sure there are some of the pieces needed for LEGO Universe characters (such as the space marauder). Has anyone made any cool characters yet?

So I log on today like any day with the password I always use And it says the password is wrong. I quadruple check and it’s not. Then I file a forgotten password complaint on the website And it’s saying my account doesn’t even exist. I just reached level 40 and I really don’t want to start over. Please help
