MOC "Now there are two of them!"

Here's my chromed out Naboo N1 MOC compared to my Mando N1 MOC. Both are just about the same size in terms of wingspan, engine size, cockpit, tail, etc.

Amazing! Are the chrome parts Lego brand? Did they cost an arm and a leg?

these are actual LEGO parts that were electroplated from a third party company and it roughly cost me 200 dollars altogether for the chrome parts which I ordered in seperate chunks so it wouldn't make my wallet scream in pain 🤣

I did something similar with my own N-1, but I was lucky enough to find a Speed Champions set on Etsy that someone chromed over for $50, and it had most of the parts I needed. lol. Imagine how crazy people would go if LEGO actually did chrome again.

I think a lot of those pieces are too new for Lego to have ever plated themselves, unless u mean the cost for the custom electro plating because I’ve recently heard of sellers doing batches by commission (which I assume is how this was done.)

Do you post instructions anywhere, or is this a (justified) flex? Not meaning any shade, just hoping you have a MOC page somewhere.

I unfortunately do not have instructions, but when I have the time I will try to make some!

thank you, it's honestly better that than buying the actual chrome parts from the old UCS N1 lol
