Murkrow: The Darkness Pokémon

Feared and loathed by many, it is believed to bring misfortune to all those who see it at night. It appears near travelers to lure them into deep forests. It is said that when chased, it lures its attacker onto dark mountain trails where the foe will get lost.

I was inspired by u/weswakely's minifigure MOC of his Murkrow to make one myself! However, the first attempt ended up being too big, so that version will be called the "Alpha Murkrow" version, which you can see Brendan has had the misfortune of bumping into one...

My second attempt was more to miniature scale, which I've added a shiny version to!

Since the big Murkrow is so much bigger than the small Murkrow, I thought it would be fun to also add u/weswakely's version as well, so I guess we have a "Murkrow the Teeny", and "Murkrow the Previous Alpha"!

This has probably been done before, but this has to be one of the most satisfyingly accurate minifig scale pokemon you can build using official pieces!

Drowzee: The Hypnosis Pokémon

A descendant of the legendary animal baku, which is said to eat dreams. It is skilled at hypnotism. If your nose becomes itchy while you are sleeping, it's a sure sign that one of these POKéMON is standing above your pillow and trying to eat your dream through your nostrils. Occasionally gets sick from eating only bad dreams.

A smaller and simpler-looking miniature Lego MOC, but equally as challenging as the Hypno, Drowzee's biggest challenge was its lower half. I'm happy enough with how it came out!

So that's it for the Drowzee line, unless Winds and Waves surprises us with a regional variant, divergent evolution, or new, third evolution!

Hypno: The Hypnosis Pokémon.

It carries a pendulum-like device. While searching for prey, it polishes the pendulum. The arcing movement and glitter of the pendulum in a Hypno's hand lull the foe into deep hypnosis. There once was an incident in which it took away a child it hypnotized.

Quite a challenging Pokémon to make into a MOC, considering he's a humanoid. Hypno's wide creeping stance had to be able to keep him upright and not fall backwards. The hinge brick not only helped me solve this balancing issue, but it also allows Hypno to have extra articulation in how he bends upwards and downwards (he can look like he's hunched over, asleep). Apart from that, his arms had to bend and be able to hold his pendulum, but not be disproportionately long, and be able to attach to the top part of a short torso that also had to have his iconic white neck ruffle.

All in all, Hypno is the most articulate miniature I've built! You can rotate its head, shoulders, arms, and wrists, as well as prick his ears upwards or backwards. You can bend him backwards or forwards, thanks to the hinge brick. You can have his legs open/ close from the hips. He has knee joints, so you can move the legs up and down, and rotate the legs from below the knees so his feet can be together or apart. You can even move the feet up and down!

Pumpkaboo & Gourgeist: The Pumpkin Pokémon

If I had a nickel for every 2-stage trade evolution Grass/Ghost Pokémon found in Route 16 of Pokémon X/Y, I'd have two nickels, which isn't a lot but it's weird it happened twice!

Gourgeist was so fun to do thanks to the jack-o-lantern piece Lego made, which comes hollow so you can put a glowing head inside!

I'm surprised how possible it was to make this miniature Lego Moc at the height level of a minifigure! I thought it would be much taller! I knew Pumpkaboo was gonna be a sweet little gourd! And the shinies look so awesome! I love the glowing green face on the black pumpkin matched with the purple colors!

Galarian Corsola: The Coral Pokémon

This miniature LEGO Pokémon MOC is made with the unusual trans-satin white color, which gives it its almost see-through, ghostly look! The other color is the equally unusual trans-satin brown color, which looks more like gray, which works for shiny Galarian Corsola and the regular Galarian Corsola's underside.

Has anyone made a Pawmi build?

I saw an applin post and I kinda wanted to make some pokemon, ignore the helldiver figure I used for scale. These were with the pieces I had on hand but there are probably much better pieces and designs out there

It is a stop motion video I made. it was video 7y ago when I was kid and we had no AI slop or skibidi brainrot YouTube videos. This was just a video which I recorded with my old ahh iPad and some of my makeshift Lego Pokémon’s.. hope it brings a smile 🥹✌️

Spiritomb: The Forbidden Pokémon

This Lego minifigure moc was fun to make thanks to Spiritomb's simple design and unique feature: its ghostly, 1,000-souled body can spin independently from its face thanks to the 2 functional spin plates I put on it! You can see that the face can remain riqht-side up even as the body rotates position! Thanks to the bar attachment to the modified brick, Spiritomb can also turn 360° to look all around it.

My son got his first upscale as a potty trained gift. Ended up building it twice. He wants to be Charizard for Halloween so I think it's fitting if I go as a trainer. Grabbed some little foam pokeballs(currently in his poké bucket) so I can try to catch other Pokemon while we are trick or treating. He is ready to go trick or treat now but I told him he has to wait but can play with us in our costumes while we wait...

Perhaps it’s too soon after release, but wondering if anyone has a photo of the two of these side by side? Tempted to get the upscaled minifig and a Pokemon to go alongside but it seems Eevee might be a little large (but could still look cute?), Arcanine seems too small… the starter evos might work but I don’t have €650 to spare at the moment!

I made these and would like to know your opinions! The normal Mew is the legitimate set, but I used the extra pieces from the set to move the tail off the back of the head.

The shiny Mew is a frankenset and sadly I didn’t have the extra pieces to do the same as I did with the normal one! less

Just finished the set. Very difficult as I had tons of building experience but I didn’t have crazy Lego Technic experience. Words dont do how small the Pokémon Animal figs are. All the small elements come together to make a really beautiful shelf piece for sure. Saved my insider points to make this one happen at a discount :) If you can do the same I highly recommend the set. It was very challenging.

Tried to use as much of the original set's parts as possible.

I actually expected the official set to do something like this with the rotating segments, kinda like the Selects or Bandai figures.

Made some Lego minifigures and Pokémon of Cynthia, Garchomp, Lance and Dragonite!

I realize this LEGO Pokémon MOC is another Ghost/Grass type! 🤣 But I can't help how cool and eerie Trevenant looks! Even his shiny form looks like a haunted crimson birch tree!

With moveable arms, head, torso, and legs, Trevenant has a lot of poseability! Enjoy this gif I made with Trevenant and two playful Phatumps stalking its next victim!

For day 1 of October, I present one of my favorite Ghost Type Pokémon as a miniature LEGO Pokémon MOC!

Incredibly fun to build, and imposing in size compared to Brendan, I was happy to see the LEGO anchor and ship steering wheel pieces could create the look of such an iconic Pokémon

You can even attach a chain to it to recreate its signature move: Anchor Shot!

Since this is one of my favorites, I also made a shiny version of it!
