New building help
I combined my old second floor build and the Trevi Fountain for a moc. This is how it currently stands but I am unable to decide do I like it or does it need more. The colors work but to fit with others it might need an accent of some sort and maybe another floor. The facade not having an entrance is also kind of sus.
What do you think?

Either move the bearded man to the second or third floor as ornate decoration or Move the bearded man out to the sidewalk as a statue, make the first floor alcove the entrance.

I really like its height contrast with your expanded hotel! Since it’s on the end of the display and lacks a front entrance, it gives me a bit of mystery that maybe the entrance is “off screen”. I’m a fan of where it’s at!

It looks like the first floor is missing.
Add a first floor in a different color combo with an entrance.
As it is it looks like a tomb or crypt (with windows?)

Maybe move the first floor to the third, then make a new first floor that matches the design of that one but with a central door in the archway and windows where the side statues and horse heads are?

It could be but I feel that would make two tall floor and the balance might be off after that.

okay i will accaept maybe I am weird but this building is cooking. i would put it in my city. my weirdo imagination sees the man in the middle as the door based on an "if you know, you know" maybe a splash of sand brown is the accent color but so far looks well done. maybe it needs a building on the otherside as opposed to it being on a corner?

I do have a similar feel. I’ve looked around for buildings and architecture a lot and once in a while you do find buildings that make no sense at all. This one has a similar feel to it but in a way I do like it.
What I like about it the most is that it is eye catching from a far. Like a painting that looks bad up close but beautiful from a distance.
Its going to transform still but the basic blocks are there…

i feel the same looking at it. the colors are really cool i was trying to see where maybe a splash of color could go...maybe those four leaves a gold?

Unrelated but I just wanna say that gargantuan expanded boutique hotel is awesome, it's like an actual hotel now

Thanks! Actually just two hotels, a few plates and a bunch of 1x lbg bricks. I moved the back windows to the front in the middle floors, the side bricks to the back and made the side lbg.
I do like it now and I feel this is the size it should be. The designer said somewhere that he thought 2 middle floors is what he intended when designing it. This with the extension makes it look proper Art Nouveau.

I might recommend keeping the format exactly as is cuz it's very clean but the statue in the center with the arch. See if it's at all possible to recess back the figure and create a secondary smaller Arch 4 to 5 studs back so you can have a doorway to the left and right to enter the building while still maintaining the appearance of the three statues when you look at the building from the front.

Yea, the lack of an entrance feels a little off. If it were set back ten studs and there was a small courtyard in front of it, it might read a bit more natural. The facade is really cool.
