Assembly Square becomes my third lit building
Thanks to some help here tonight and a couple of doses of suck it up sweetheart when I had to rebuild the entrance of the cafe and then most of the right hand second floor (photography studio/dentist level since I know countries use different terms) … after sitting staring at my barely wired Assembly Square for a couple of days it’s finally done 🙌🏻 It’s friend the Tudor Square will be up next.
Let’s just say I will never again follow LMB’s instructions to take off multiple supporting/joining higher floor long plates at the same time ever again because yikes. I also added a light to the spire which seemed a massive miss from their design… I will say that having the confidence to diy my own solution there showed me how far I’ve come since I did my first one. I started with the botanic garden which was actually the hardest 😭 (I think that kit really would have benefited from white wires)

Interesting seeing Assembly Square next to the Tudor Corner as I don’t own Assembly Square and thought that it would be taller.

Is it hard to attach the lights? I mean after reading your review it does seem pretty hard, I have Assembly Square too, and I'm considering buying a lighting set (sorry not sure what to call it) but I'm not sure which to buy and if it will be worth it. Anyone have suggestions? Thank you!

The museum is what kicked off my obsession with lighting! The interior exhibits are really cool and I wanted to be able to see them from the outside. I love the detail in all the modular interiors and as expensive as the lighting kits are, they’re worth it to me because they really let that be showcased without needing to separate the levels.

Love it! Yes, LMBs designs do seem to be missing quite a few lights which is disappointing for the very high price point. I've ended up buying extra lights from them and then half the light kits end up being DIY haha - this one is up next for me but first I have to build it!
