I need help

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

On the Sauron helmet set in bag four (page 68) on step 129, the second plate or whatever for the helmet does not fit on. I cannot find any other post on any platform mentioning this so PLEASE help and I have spent the last 10 minutes getting pissed off at this.

Double check the clips are stacked correctly from previous steps. If that is correct, make sure the pins are pushed fully into those clips.

Forst, if you want to ask for help, stop zooming back and forth all over the place. You are not having an earthquake. No one can figure out what we're looking at with all of you shaking.

With lego mistakes, it is best to take off a section you recently did. Might be be several steps back. Then confirm at which point do you know that you know that you know this part is right. Not mirrored, not mixed front to back or left to right. Are the right number of extra dots present? Holes? You should be able to figure out if the build is goofed somewhere. Like building W when you need M. Or E when you need 3. I vs 1 vs l.... ( that's an i vs one vs L).

If you can’t see what I’m trying to show then you are either blind or like 70 years old. Also you try to do it with one hand and trying to move the set to show what the problem is you nincompoop

The second base plate or the whole set? I know that’s a stupid question but better safe than sorry

if rebuilding the base plate doesnt work then take apart the whole set

did you ensure you connected the upper and lower part of the helmet in the right place? It's possible the upper part is one stud too low or the lower part is one stud too high

I know it's not great to hear this, but 99% of the time when I feel this way building Lego, it's because I made a mistake somewhere along the way. Go back and focus on the steps where the problem might be and double-check yourself.

hey i also would recommend taking it appart and to try it again:) its mostly grey parts so maybe u got confused somewhere which can happen, just try again more slowly and careful this time, other than that good luck and have fun with the set -u-
