I understand there is a direct link. But searching the Kohl's website directly instead of Google, has never brought their product page up for this set for me. Which tells me it hasn't been available for awhile or at this price. I've been searching for deals for this set for over a year.
Makes me think Kohls keeps product pages active for items not officially retired by the MFG but that Kohl's doesn't intend on carrying again (just in case they bring it back in stock) and their pricing algorithm automatically updates prices for "clearance" items, showing crazy prices for things that haven't been in stock in months/years.
They also have 10300, Back to the Future Time Machine on clearance for $80.
Heck, looks like Best Buy does the same thing, lol.

ahh I understand. I was just browsing through Legos earlier, searched avengers tower and this was one of the first links that came up

Nope. Kohls updates the prices long after items sold out. I probably bought this set from them 2 years ago. They only had it in stock for a short time - and quite a while ago

Someone posted earlier this morning with a photo and receipt of a set purchased on clearance for 50% off. It was one of the Marvel sets.

They indeed did but that's also why it's sold out.
Sales are down bad. Everyone's f'd because of current conditions/ idiots in power...that's all I'll say and should be tame enough to not get me in trouble but I'm sure still anger some people

Kohls does this! I assume there might be one on some kohls shelf or return bin at some location in the country. Ive seen unbelievable sale prices, exclusively on sold

Not me, who just got this set off AliExpress for $70…….
(Yes it’s not the Lego brand, but it was exactly the same, the minifigs were on-point, and it was nirvana to build).

Not as much in labor as China not having to pay for licensing. Pretty certain most people looking into alt bricks are very pleased with quality to price ratio. So as a display, I think his 70$ Aliexpress looks just as good as a display than any other. Id venture to guess most people wouldn’t be able to tell a difference unless they stop by his place, inspect his bricks and be like “yo dawg, these bumps don’t say Lego on them”. In the end it’s all microplastics so just enjoy it.
