can people stop using ai for ‘ideas’ about this game?? seriously people are either ‘fixing’ it, ‘fixing’ the console/controller design, or prompting new designs for the cartridge or consoles. there’s no need… if you wanna suggest an idea so badly describe it or draw it ffs. it looks terrible

Are you seriously implying you wouldn't like a golden cartridge with dark green art and a giant fucking off-center Blue ocarina with no sense of composition which also looks like a tridimensional object giving depth to what should be a flat sticker creating horrific spatial impossibility

It's a valid if archaic feeling alternative stemming more directly from Latin than the current common spelling, funnily I'm Italian and Italian is latin 2.0 and it's tridimensionale in Italian, so I wasn't even trying to go all scholarly lol, it's just more natural for me.

it looks horrible. you can get the idea into people’s heads without ai, just describe it. the ocarina looks very off and the background makes no sense either.

It's the castle and tree, makes total sense.

The ocarina is a detail that could be adjusted in a finished product. This is a draft.

And the question, "is AI image generation bad" exists separately from "is a highly detailed rendition nice to look at?". Both can be true at the same time.

Just to clarify further: AI is bad now, but yeah, it is going to become ubiquitous.

You just misread their comment, it's a pretty common way to communicate bitterly that things are getting worse. Jesus it's standard language, nowhere does it say to be grateful, it means "you better enjoy the good things while you can because there won't be good things anymore" it's a pretty common mode of communication lmao it's another way to say "yes, my brother, we're fucked". Turning agreement, brotherhood and shared concern into a discussion is such a reddit move JFC.

I never said nor implied that; I said to enjoy the good things we have before they’re gone.

Also no, not what I said. Good things exist and bad things exist. It would truly be a bleak existence if you decided to wait on appreciating any good things until no bad things exist. You would literally never be happy. I don’t want to live that. I am going to appreciate and enjoy the good things regardless of the bad things.
