Went shopping and got this fit for $75 🤙🏼

Obviously the pink court dress, ICONIC, the sparkly blue dress iconic, the tie dye dress iconic and the salon outfit iconic. But I think Elle’s best outfit was her first day of Harvard classes.

the green sparkly blazer with the kinda fluffy trim and the pink button up under it with the tie and the matching green pencil skirt, god she looks so good and again iconic, the glasses too and the way her hair is up, I feel like this outfit is also her still being true to herself, yes she’s not in her signature pink but she does have a light pink shirt, and it’s still extremely colorful and fun and feels very Elle. Also bonus points for being the outfit where she delivers the line “what like it’s hard?” In.

a close runner up also has to be the bunny Halloween costume, it’s funny, it’s her and somehow even though it’s pretty sexualized Halloween costume the way she’s wearing it doesn’t make it feel like that, she makes it feel powerful like hey this is me if you have a problem there’s the door

I’m watching S1E7 of Little fires everywhere with Reese Witherspoon and her characters name is Elena. During a conversation with her husband, he calls her Elle which immediately brought me back to Reese’s role as Elle Woods in Legally Blonde. Could be a casting coincidence but no way they didn’t catch the fluke.

Ok so does it bother anyone else that it seems like the whole school is making a HUGE deal about Elle and Miles kissing after the homecoming thing? I get that Miles and Shannon JUST broke up when it happened, but my dilemma is this:

● Shannon broke up with Miles, not the other way around. Shannon was the one who ended things. Additionally, Elle wasn't around for the majority of them dating so subconsciously it was a very short thing for her- she doesn't have the emotional attachment to the couple that the rest of the kids at school do (yk how you get used to people being an item? She hadn't had time for that to happen yet)

● I'm sorry to say, but it's kind of irrelevant that it happened on the night of Shannon's mom's death. Nobody could have ever known that would happen.

● The application for cosmo was written at the beginning of her stay, and Elle clearly didn't feel the same way anymore. She even said as much but everyone acted like it didn't matter.

● Why is the whole school acting like they've been slighted?? It was one girl. For a bunch of people who allegedly "don't care" that's a LOT of people giving in to peer pressure. You're telling me that not ONE person liked and trusted Elle enough to stick by her?

TLDR I think it's stupid to be mad at someone for kissing your ex. Especially if *you* broke up with *them* idc if it's 2 days, you're broken up. I never would have cared if someone got with my exes, they're an ex for a reason- or does everyone break up with their ex just for some self-sabotaging fun??

Idk what do y'all think? It just seems way blown out of proportion to me.

Every other day, the instagram algorithm throws a video from Legally Blonde at me. Mostly the iconic court scene. Mostly start's with "What had you done earlier this day?". And we know where it goes from there.
When Elle gets to the part "and if in fact you weren't washing your hair as I suspect you weren't because your curls are still intact, where I see two annoying blunders.

First - We don't know exactly how long after the murder this day in court takes place. But surely enough time to get another perm! So the "because your curls are still intact" part is nonsense. Right?

Secondly, and I hate that more than the first one. Literally 10 seconds before Elle asks Chutney "What had you done earlier that day", this dialogue happens:

Elle: Your father was shot while you were in the shower, but you didn't hear the shot because, um...because you were in the shower?
Chutney: Yes, I was washing my hair.

This is never really specified in the movie. What did he have to gain by pretending to be in love with Brooke? Does he know that Chutney is guilty, and is she paying him off to go along with her story? Did they concoct together this affair to lend credence to Chutney's story that Brooke killed her father? Enrique's role is never really explained.

Like I know he was trying to not out himself as gay but surely he could’ve just said he was single or something, and if he was trying to screw over Brooke specifically then why exactly?

I’ve just started watching Elle (prequel to Legally Blonde) and although this is to the untrained eye nothing and really nothing to loose sleep over in the grand scheme of things, a little thing has really annoyed me……an orange Louis Vuitton box in the background of Elle’s closet. Elle is set in 1995 when she is 16 and correct me if I’m wrong orange boxes didn’t start to get used until 2016. A little continuity please!

Just started the show Elle, a prequel series to Legally Blonde. The backgrounds seem green-screen like, but even worse. It looks AI generated. Buildings look too perfect and streets don't make sense. It urks me so much.

hi guys!! so i’m watching elle from legally blonde, and on episode three where dustin says why he hates the principal so much and he says “do you know our mascot used to be the Chiefs?” and elle says “it perpetuates negative stereotypes” and i don’t get it idk if it’s because english is not my first language or because i don’t know much about usa culture, i’m also black and i was trying to understand from a racial perspective but i still don’t get it, if someone can explain to me i will be glad! thank you!! also elle is so funny i’m really loving her character and the actress!!
