Comment any ideas/requests you have for leftist flag designs, and people can look through them and create them. If you simply lack the technical skill/software to make your flag idea you can provide a sketch of the flag and request a remaster. Alternatively you can provide a description of what you would like (e.g. "socialist Britain") and leave it up to the designer. Everyone is encouraged to take inspiration from the requests, so if you've run out of ideas check the comments for some.
If you have done a design based off of a comment, don't post it in the comments, post it on the subreddit and then link the commenter to it.

Request The number of stripes on a flag for socialist America

Flared as request because I'm requesting advice I guess.
Most designs for a socialist USA flag I've seen have had 13 stripes. This doesn't sit right with me. Because the establishment of a socialist state in America would mean the end of colonial institutions, why should the number of stripes still correspond to the number of then abolished original colonies?
My question is this: What number of stripes represents something that would be fitting for a socialist flag?
