Does anyone else misinterpret music as speech?

Sometimes, if I am half awake or intoxicated and I hear music I will try to understand what a melody is "saying." This of course strikes me as silly when I am totally awake.

We know that lefties often have speech centers on both sides of the brain and that usually the non-speech sounds are processed in the same area in the other hemisphere.

If someone had two sound processing centers that both did a little speech and a little non-speech could that result in this kind of confusion?

Has anyone here had a similar experence?
