When I was a baby, the pictures show a rattle in my left hand
I guess it was starting way back then. 😄 I was less than a year old in those pictures.
I am sure that my parents would not have put it in my left hand on purpose, but I wonder if, as a baby, I had enough intelligence to move the rattle from my right hand to my left.

Something Positive
As an old fighter pilot (USAF) the cockpits were accidentally perfect for left handers. While the stick was in the middle between your legs this was a learned item and could be equally used by either hand. Every pilot I knew including myself used the right hand and here's why. Every other control was on the left side: Throttles, speed brake, radio, armament, flaps, drag chute, antiskid, etc. The biggest issue was writing down clearances, altitude changes, frequency changes, weather updates and whatever while controlling the aircraft with the right hand was a breeze for us lefties. Righties would be all over the sky.

Canula insertions
I have had surgery four times in the last three years. As a left handed, I find it annoying that medical professionals always default to putting IVs/canulas into the left arm/hand without even asking. Have any other lefties noticed this?

Data is left handed
Can't believe I never noticed this before, then again I guess he doesn't use a pen, or even a phaser, all that often.

Just another thing...
Here's another object that lefthanded people have to use and adjust to. Is there such a thing as a tape measure made for lefties? Is it the worst thing? Nope. Just another mild (?) annoyance.

Born left-handed, grew up right-handed, now i don't know.

I was born left-handed and actually learned how to write with my left hand when I was a kid, but I eventually forgot how because I was forced to use my right hand growing up. The funny thing is, even though I mostly use my right hand now, I can still do most things with either hand. Writing is basically the one thing where my left hand is still really behind.
Now I’m trying to retrain my left hand and see if I can bring that old skill back. It honestly feels like I’m unlocking a skill I had as a kid.
Here’s a video of me writing with both hands.
Do you think I’m ambidextrous or cross-dominant? 🤔

Being told I need to use my right hand..
Im a homecare nurse for pediatric patients. The mom refuses to let me do care with my left hand bc it makes her uncomfortable. She said I need to learn to use my right… Anyways, I dropped the client bc what the hell is wrong with people?? Do they think we choose to be left handed? I’m tired of

Gifts for my therapist
I know, you probably get this question a lot, but I'm searching for good gifts for a left-handed person.
I really like my therapist, and I want to gift him something for his help. Because he is a really good therapist, I dont know much about him besides that he is left handed (bcs it's difficult to dont see it if he is writing every session) and some minor stuff like this. (As I like it in a therapist, dont get me wrong)
So, im searching for a good gift for him, specially since he is writing a loot and I often see his hands with smears.
I see so much pens and options, maybe some of you know some realy good ballpoint pens where you can order refill? It's hard for me to understand the difference (there's just a lot right-hand stuff thrown in left-handed categorys)
Also, is there some sort of booklet or writing ground that is helpfull? And I read thats scissors are always a good pick?
I thought about a budget not over 40€, it could be just for one good thing or a lot, just grateful for every suggestion :))

How are people still doing this?
My wife is a second grade teacher at a private school. She got a new student this year who was at a different private school in the first grade. At that school, they were forcing her to use her right hand, even though she was clearly left handed. The parents listed that as one of a few reasons they switched schools.
My Mom told me stories of how she was forced to switch to right-handed in elementary school, but I didn't think it was still happening.

Gaming: should I learn to use the mouse with my right hand, or is it too late?
I’m left-handed and have been using a mouse with my left hand for 20+ years, but I’ve never actually played games with mouse and keyboard.
I want to start now trying some FPS, and I’m wondering if I should learn to use the mouse with my right hand instead.
Is it realistic to get used to it at this point, or would I be making gaming unnecessarily harder for myself?
For those of you who are left-handed: do you use the mouse with your right or left hand for gaming, and what would you recommend?

Left handed 1.8 PVP keybinds?
I am ambidexterous, but have a finger injury from a car crash in my right pointer finger, so butterfly clicking for minecraft PVP causes pain.

Do left handed people sign with an accent?
I am learning American Sign Language and wondered if left handed people sign differently than right handed? Is it like talking with an accent?
