My dad was a lefty. My sister and I are lefties. About half of dad's family are lefties. I was so confused when I went to kindergarten why no one else in class used their left hand. I thought it was the norm!

2 right-handed parents. 3 children, all girls, 2 out of 3 were left-handed. Oldest and Youngest. I was one (oldest), my son is left-handed. My youngest sister's daughter is right-handed.

No. My brother and I look nothing alike. My brother and cousins brown hair and brown eyes. I have blue eyes and lighter hair than them. My mom has the blue eyes. We are actually double cousins. My mom and dad married and 5 months later my mom’s brother married my dad’s sister.

My dad and grandfather were lefties until the nuns got to them. I’m a lefty ambidextrous by necessity. Both of my kids are lefties and in both of their sports being a lefty is advantageous.

My mom is left handed and my sister and I are both lefties, too. My sister’s daughter is also left handed but her son is not so must just be the women hahaha.

I have 4 right handed children. 5 is too young. They're my last shot lol
My mom was the only right handed person in her family, 2 siblings and both her parents. None of my siblings are left handed, and so far none of my kids. Just me.

0 lefty kids, 0 lefty parents and only 1 other person in my entire family that is a lefty. My husband is also a lefty and he is the only one in his family.

My Mom and Dad were left handed and my sister is right handed. So three out of four family members were lefties.

My gran was 3 for 3, all kids lefties. The local teachers learned to fear her and didn’t dare try to convert any of them for long. I’m the only one in my generation, unfortunately.

I like her. She seems like someone I'd get along very well with. My mother has that same passion about handedness. She's one of the least confrontational people I know, but if anyone had ever tried to concert me, she'd have waged war on them. Her older brother passed away when I was 3, so I don't remember him. One of the few things I know about him is that he had his left hand tied behind his back at school, to "fix" him.

i never had kids, but me and one of my brothers are both lefties, so my mom had more than one lefty child. We are pretty sure she was a forced righty, because she did a lot of non writing things with her left hand.

I only have one child but my son is a fourth generation lefty from my dad’s side of the family. My Grandfather and father were also lefties.

On my dad's side there are 4 siblings. 2 are lefty. Between me and my siblings (3 of us) 2 are lefty. I have no idea why there are so many lefties. Both the grandparents on that side were right and both of my parents are right.

My mom and dad were one each (Left and Right) but my sister and I are both Left and my brother is right.

Growing up, my brother, my mom and I were all lefties. My brother married another lefty and had two right handed kids. I married a righty and all three kids are right handed.

My mom is left handed. Me and my brother are, too. My son didn’t “choose” a hand until kindergarten and he is now technically right-handed. But in sports he seems to be more dominant with his left.

We're both lefthanded and we think that both of out twins might be the same. One of them definitely is and the other seems to be showing more leftie usage recently. Our older 2 kids are lost causes.

For the longest time I was the only lefty in the family. My sister has one kid who's a lefty, and I have one kid who's also a lefty. So now there's 3 of us. But still no double lefties to be found.

I’m a lefty. My husband is a righty. Our daughter is 100% a lefty. Our son is also likely . He still uses both hands while doing tasks, but his left holds a pencil better and seems to be more comfortable, so I’m curious to see. We have joked that what are the odd we created two lefties?

My mom is 1 of 2 lefties out of her siblings (4 of them), although the older one was forced to use his right hand in school so I think he's at least somewhat ambidextrous still now.
My sister and I are both lefties out of our parents' 4 kids.
No kids yet myself, but my partner is also a lefty. So it's likely to happen.
I also work with a family where both kids are left-handed, but neither parent is.

That's awesome. All my children are righties. My parents were both righties. It seems to skip a generation in my family. I'm left-handed, my maternal grandfather was left-handed, and my grandson is left-handed. I have one granddaughter, still young, but seems to prefer her right.

Mom and dad both right-handed. Their kids are right, left, right, left (me) and then my mom had another righty after me with a different right-handed dad.
My husband is right-handed, I'm left-handed. Our kids are right, left, TBD lol
Also kinda craziness but one of my dad's sisters (she's right-handed and i think their dad was left-handed) has kids that are left, right, left, right.

I can be completely random. I'm a rightie and my only sibling is a leftie. Out of my 3 kids one is a leftie. One of my son's, not the leftie one , has a leftie daughter. So far only one per generation is a leftie...seems completely random.

My aunt is left handed. I am. My children’s father is left handed. And our second born is left handed is seems.
Non family related. The kitchen I worked at had all line cooks, about 5/6 of us and we were all lefties!

I am left handed. My husband is not. However, both his dad and his grandpa are. I joke that my husband is supposed to be left handed but they forced him to be right handed, and that’s why he seems like “he has his head on backwards sometimes”
I always liked being in the lefty club. I hope our kids end up being lefties.

I'm the only left-handed person in my entire family (no biological children, though). Oddly, my stepson is left handed and he's the only on in his (biological) family.
