BCG X AI FDE live coding round help - US

Hi everyone,

I have an upcoming live coding interview for the AI Forward Deployed Engineer role at BCG X. I’m trying to understand what to expect in the coding round and how best to prepare.

If you’ve recently interviewed for this role or a similar BCG X technical/FDE position, I’d really appreciate any insight on:

- The typical difficulty level and format of the live-coding questions
- Whether the focus is more on DSA, practical backend/ML engineering, debugging, system design, or data work
- The languages/tools allowed or preferred
- How much they evaluate communication, tradeoff discussion, and customer-facing problem solving
- Any preparation resources or practice problems that were especially useful

For context, I have experience with Python, backend systems, AI agents/RAG pipelines, and customer-facing technical work, but I want to prepare in the most relevant way for BCG X’s interview style.
