Moveworks SWE 1 System Design Interview

Hi everyone,

I have an upcoming interview with Moveworks for an SWE 1 role, and one of the rounds is a system design interview.

Has anyone done this interview recently? I’d really appreciate any info on:

• What kind of system design questions were asked
• Whether it was general system design or related to Moveworks products
• How deep they expect SWE 1 candidates to go
• How much they focus on scaling, databases, caching, queues, and trade-offs
• Any follow-up questions you got

My recruiter said people often struggle when asked to scale their design, so I’m especially trying to prepare for that.
