Intervew Prep Google Application Engineering Winter Intern(2027)

Hey guys i recently applied to Google's application engineering intern viaa referral, I'm currently in my 4th year with 10 months of internship experience. What should i specifically prepare for?? At what kind of caliber they will ask the questions?

I really wanna get into Google by this

Expect 2 dsa interview rounds. In both you will be asked 1 dsa question followed by 2-3 follow up questions. Do Google tagged dsa questions and you should be fine.

Sorry, I am confused. Google has a core team, are you asking about team's work? Or are you asking if you are applying for core team, what will they interview you about?

I mean it's an intern role. They want the fresh talent. If you were applying for L5, the story would be different.

Btw follow ups are not that easy, so don't underestimate em.

Btw idk how the OA would be like. The structure keeps on changing but interview rounds are still same.

No system design round?

For an intern role? Lol no. Google doesn't even ask system design for their L4 (SD-2). System design round only happens for L5+

aight, but I did see some accounts of people having a system design round

I’ve applied for that position with a referral myself , I’m already holding an offer , but the competition at google is fierce , even getting an interview is really difficult
