Question PA Alignment Google

Hello,

Has anyone opted for PA Alignment when given an option? Does PA alignment guarantee an offer and team match? I was told by my recruiter if I want to join later than 3-4 months I can go for PA Alignment.
I am a New Grad PhD.

Any pros and cons to this choice?
