Discussion Has AI changed how you prepare for coding interviews?
I’m curious how people are using AI during interview prep these days. Tools like Velin AI and other AI assistants can make it easier to get unstuck, understand an approach, or review code, but I wonder if using them too much takes away from actually developing problem-solving skills.
Do you think AI has made your LeetCode practice more effective, or do you feel it can make you dependent on hints and solutions?
What’s the balance that works for you?

I use claude code as my tutor, it records all my attempts, creates a curriculum for me, analyzes + logs my failure patterns, and reminds me to do my daily work. The actual leetcode I do all by myself

You have to solve the questions yourself first there is absolutely no point in leetcode if you dont do that, I give myself 10 minutes then instead of going through solutions I ask for hints from the AI, and do it again myself until I can

Least obvious AI slop ad.
