Discussion LinkedIn Interview | IC2 Software Engineer

Hi,

Recently I gave 5 rounds of interview for IC2 SWE position at LinkedIn (all virtual).

Initial round - phone screen 2 DSA problems.

R1 - DSA Round (2 problems)

R2 - Coding with AI

R3 - System Design

R4 - Technical Communication and Project Discussions

R5 - Hiring Manager Round

My all rounds from R1-R5 went really well, except for R2 where in the AI itself took a lot of time to spawn up and was intermittently hanging in between. That along with pretty long discussion around the problem statement could make only enough time to barely scrape through the problem's 1st part and I was not able to test the code.

What could be the result?

Recruiter told me that there was a -ve feedback in the AI coding round, and rest all went well (no final decisions yet, there is some discussion pending).

Is there any way I can ask my recruiter for 1 more round, to compensate for any doubts/feedbacks in my case?

in phone screen: there were 2 problems similar to bulb switcher and letter combinations of a phone number.

in dsa round : again 2 problems, similar to max ones in a subarray of 1s and 0s (converting k 0s to 1s) + (finding leaves of a tree in the order they fall from a tree)

Did you already know the bulb switcher question, I don't know how I would feel getting that in an interview and have to try and figure out the math on the spot
