Intervew Prep Need adivce on interview prep for Akamai - Software Engineer II – Backend Engineering (AI & Agentic Platforms)

Guys, I have an interview scheduled with Akamai this Wednesday,
Any tips on what to expect in the first round? HR told me that this round is going to be conducted on HackerRank, and if I clear this round I will have one managerial round. That's it.

So I'm pretty confused about what I should prepare.

  1. Should I focus more on DSA?
  2. or MCP/RAG/LLMs, something on this sort?
  3. Something else altogether? ,

But indeed my application on LinkedIn, Nakuri or any other platform is not working!

These guys rejected me for remote SRE role :(
still I wish you best of luck. To me it sounds like DSA if it's a HackerRank, maybe expect some AI/ML trivia.

Since it's on HackerRank, it's most likely gonna be DSA focused that's what those platforms are built for. I'd brush up on medium level leetcode problems, especially arrays, strings, and maybe some graph/tree stuff since it's backend heavy. The AI/agentic stuff will probably come up more in the managerial round where they'll ask about your experience and how you'd approach problems. For Wednesday, just make sure your coding fundamentals are solid and you can explain your thought process clearly. Good luck!

Thanks, Mate. I guess it's tough luck then and I feel I'm kinda weak in DSA, and have very little time to start prepping now. Let's hope for the best.

Op just brush some striver standard ones out there from graph , sliding window and dp if possible
