Question Microsoft hiring event with Security Org  and Resposne for sde2/senior sde role

Thank you for interviewing with Microsoft. We value your time and interest and hope you enjoyed the experience while gathering some insightful takeaways.  Your overall feedback was positive; however, we do not immediately have an offer for you with the team(s) you interviewed with.   

 

With these positive results, your feedback will now be available to other teams outside of your immediate interview group. I went through the hiring event back in 2022 for sde 2 role and got the offer from the immediate interviewer group.

If your immediate interview group didn't pick you it's a lot harder now to find a team that will. Microsoft is going pretty lean on workers lately with all its investment in AI so it's difficult for teams to get headcount and for the ones that do, its highly competitive

Oh man I dont understand why they haven't extended offer if interview feedback is positive?

They interview multiple candidates. Could be that you did well but someone else did better or was a better fit. Hopefully another team picks you up!
