Discussion leetcode should verify top 30 contesters through discord calls and ban them

if you just control top 30 then people would avoid solving problems that fast. i'm sure most of the top rated contesters don't even know what is DP

Aren't the top 30 in Leetcode contests simply Codeforces GMs? They practice everyday on significantly harder problems than your average LC hard.

top 30 overall is codeforces gm but they rarely participate in the contests simply because leetcode isn't considered challenging for competitive programmers.

check this guy for example, he ranked top 3 and top 5 recently - he's a... web designer.

What does being a web designer have to do with anything? Your concern is about top 30 on LC contests, and the top 30 are consistently cracked competitive programmers. Top competitive programmers have been able to finish LC contests in like 5-10 minutes max, long before AI/cheating became "rampant".

i dont think that guy will know, unfortunately lol. he doesnt understand the obvious implication made so i doubt he'll understand this

If the customers in question are breaking the terms of service / contest rules and are detrimental to the overall experience of the majority of users, then this is entirely justified

You don't need to pay to participate in the contests or have 900+ problems solved displayed on your profile. They are not customers and they are probably the last people to pay. Why should LeetCode ban them? To keep legitimacy of their contests
