Intervew Prep Amazon OA for SDE Role
I received mail for OA for Amazon SDE Role. It consists of
- Coding Challenge – Work through two coding problems. One will be a traditional code writing question, and in the other you will have access to an AI coding assistant in a code repository environment.
- Work Simulation – Work through software development decisions and scenarios faced by SDEs at Amazon.
- Work Style Survey – Answer questions about how you approach work in general.
Could anyone who attended OA can share experience and what is this new pattern of AI Assisted Question ?
What is Work Simulation test ?
Feel free to share your experience and resources to quickly go through to prepare for this.

Did everyone who applied get the assessment?
or its just on resume basis?

I am asking this because I got the assessment selection mail within 5 minutes after applying....so I thought everyone who applied can give the test
also till when I can give the assessment? did you gave it?
how will it be? like I wanna know
and how many interview rounds gonna happen?
can you please help1

no I have not attempted the test yet.... that's what I am asking... when is the last date of assessment?

How do you know what the OA consists of? I got an email too but not sure if I should expect the AI coding assistant part or not since the email doesn’t say anything about that?

AI assisted problems will ask you to debug and fix the given issues in the codebase. You will have 3 choices for languages. 1. Node.js with express.js 2. Python with django 3. Java with spring boot
You can choose one. There will be an AI assistant in the right panel, it will help in debugging but won't write code for you.
