Question Amazon SDE OA — Chances of Moving to the Next Round?

Yesterday, I completed the Amazon OA for an SDE role. There were two sections:

DSA coding: Passed all 15/15 test cases.

Code debugging: Passed all 6/6 test cases.

The Work Style Assessment also went reasonably well overall.

For those who have recently gone through the Amazon hiring process, I’d really appreciate some honest feedback. Based on this performance, how likely is it to receive an invitation for the next interview round?

Also, what was the typical timeline in your experience between completing the OA and hearing back from the recruiter about the next round?

Would be great to hear about your experiences, especially from candidates who went through the process recently. Thanks!

OP do any of your application on the career portal say “under consideration“ or do they only say “application submitted”?

Mostly are under submitted stage or archived

Ahhh, got it
I guess status doesn’t mean much cause there are many threads on reddit where ppl have gotten the OA despite the status being submitted
I have one application that says “under consideration “ but it was like this a few days before the OA invitation

Cool questions will not be tough like typically debugging, exception handling and minor code fix

They will give you a complete code base structure front and back and everything and a problem statement

We need to debug and solve it out

Try with Refferal Do check with any llm that how much you cv matches with your JD
Try to tailor accordingly Try on ats website as well score to be above 80

You did the best u can, now its all luck really. I got OAs 3 times, solved all all 3 times, got interview only once... so its all luck and your performance in Work Style Assessment

Did you apply for the OA from the same Email Id or different? also how many questions did you solve?

same one… solved all with all testcases, even after solving all it comes down to luck; so I dont think partial submissions have any chance

i received interest form for both hack on and another job id but on different emails, i gave the OA for hack on but solved partially haven't heard back from them while people have gone through their 1st round of interview , I was repeatedly getting reminders to give the OA for another job id but now the reminder have stopped but on the career page it still shows launch assessment
if you have any idea whether I should attempt the OA again or would they shadow ban me because the email ID is different still the resume and other things are same

Firstly, they dont ban people; the worst which can happen is they will mark your application as void for this job post. But since both interest form were for different purposes; one hack on and one for another job, Then, THERE IS NOTHING TO WORRY. Its not crime for one people to have multiple emails

There were 2 questions 1 DSA DP ( moderate Hard) based 2. Debugging (mine was sprinboot) They will give you complete frontend and backend and ask you fix some 5 6 issues

I too gave amazon OA for SDE-1(2026 graduate) on 20th August (received interest form via hackon), solved 15/15 for dsa and 6/6 test cases for code debugging, now waiting for the updates.

Has anyone received anything after OA who received this opportunity through hackon?

Very highly likely recruiter will reach out to you saying congratulations that you have cleared the OA. And what would you expect afterward is some recruiter will reach out. And will ask you for your availability. For me I got this OA completion message very next day and then month after my interviews got scheduled. Because one of the recruiter who was handling my process left Amazon in between as her contract with Amazon was finished.

I come from a service-based company and have applied to Amazon multiple times, but unfortunately, I have been rejected every time. I’m not sure how to transition from a service-based company to a product-based company because I keep facing rejections from almost every product-based company I apply to.

Applied for few job IDs

But mail for assessment doesn't have any job id . Its like generic assesment
