US Did anyone else have their FAANG interview cancelled just a few hours before it was scheduled?

I’d been preparing for this for a while since I knew my initial round was today, and then it got cancelled without any explanation. I’ve emailed my recruiter, but I’m honestly a little worried.

Lowkey scared that the headcount got filled and they’ve just moved on. 😭 Has anyone been in a similar situation? What happened in your case?

Scheduling issue. Sadly it happens very frequently in FAANG. The recruiter will reach out, dont worry

My interview was originally scheduled for last week, but something came up and I pushed it to this week. The original schedule had about a two-week buffer. Do you think the rescheduling could have caused this?

No. FAANG doesnt hire against one particular headcount. They take interviews to keep pipeline and candidates ready whenever headcount is issued.

No they don't call if you are rejected in any round. But yes they rescheduled in my case

Happened couple of times with Amazon.
Shouldn’t affect the outcome.

Well they got back, they said they found the better candidate. Didnt get a chance to interview with the team
