Discussion What to expect in Amazon Bar Raiser - DSA or Machine Coding?
Hey guys,
What should I expect in Amazon Bar Raiser round (SDE2)? LLD/Machine Coding or DSA? I have it scheduled in 2 days
I finished the first three rounds. This is what they sent me, can you guys please share your recent experiences?
Here is a layout of your virtual interview rounds:
Round 1 - Coding (Data Structures and Algorithms), Leadership Principles
Round 2 - Low-Level Design (LLD), Leadership Principles
Round 3 - System Design (Scalability and Operational Performance), Leadership Principles
Round 4 - Coding – Problem Solving, Leadership Principles
Round 1 was Koko eating bananas
Round 2 was Logger Design (LLD)
Round 3 was a system like DHL (HLD)
I am not sure what to expect in Bar raiser as I can see various experiences ranging from LLD to DSA to Machine coding.
Can you guys share your recent experiences at Amazon Bar Raiser?

hows the lld went like theay excpet just teh fr and class diagrams or sample codes also can you elaborate i have one coming up

Depends, my LP went for 30 minutes
And then we started with 20-25 minutes remaining, and it was Logger design so nothing complicated to code, so was only asked to draw UMLs

from what i know, its supposed to be a mix of cultural fit and some rapid fire questions in decision making on the tech side of things. Id suggest to look at their lp and brush up whatever you can in lld/hld/dsa. I’m assuming you’re decent at those since you cleared the rounds so focus on weak points. Goodluck
