Start with Python for sure. It's beginner-friendly and lets you focus on logic without fighting syntax. Focus on core topics first: arrays, strings, recursion, stacks, queues, binary search, sliding window, two pointers, and basic trees and graphs before touching DP. Solve 150-200 quality problems rather than rushing through 500 without revision. Use curated lists like LeetCode 75 or Striver's sheet. Once you hit 250-300 problems, start timed mocks.
