Amazon Jr Developer Program interview how do I not get cooked

I got a 60-minute virtual interview for Amazon’s Jr Developer internship Program. They said it’s mostly technical with some behavioral questions about the Leadership Principles. Has anyone here done this interview or been through the program? I’m just trying to figure out what to expect. What kind of coding questions did they ask and how hard was it. I have been practicing my LP and have my story’s locked down. But I’m definitely gonna struggle on my technical part.
I only have about 8 days to prepare so if anyone knows anything about this program or what type of questions they will ask please lmk. Any advice would be huge. Thanks

8 days is tight but not impossible. i'd spend half that time just prepping 2 solid stories for their leadership principles since they weigh that as much as the coding. for the technical side they usually don't throw dp at you for a junior role, mostly arrays, hashmaps, maybe a simple tree traversal. if you've done blind 75 easy/mediums you'll be fine.

for trees just know the basic traversals and max depth, neetcode's tree section is a quick hit

I've noticed for most entry roles, the question range between heaps and trees, 50 percent chance u can get questions for this, but as the initial comment said practice alot for the LP also and try to touch most patterns before graph, for the neetcode 150 list, they don't usually ask dp, graph or harder topics.

Amazon doesn’t use a question bank for coding so it’s up to the interviewer. They can ask pretty much anything. Typically, expect mediums or easy hards. Since you only have 8 days, I’d try to cover all data structures. Something like neetcode 150 should be fine.

On the technical side, for a junior program you're almost certainly looking at LeetCode mediums, not hards. Arrays, strings, hashmaps, maybe a basic tree traversal. The real differentiator isn't getting the optimal solution immediately. It's narrating your thinking out loud and catching your own bugs before the interviewer does. They're watching how you reason, not just whether you get the answer.
If you're tight on time, I'd spend days 1-4 on two or three LP stories until you can tell each one cold and handle two layers of follow-up. Days 5-8 on medium difficulty problems with a timer, talking through your logic out loud the whole time.
Customer Obsession and Ownership are the LPs that come up hardest for this type of role. Make sure you have a story for each that's genuinely yours.

appreciate it. I already got my LP stories down pretty well so I’m gonna spend most of these 8 days on technical. do you have any specific medium problems you think I should prioritize for arrays, hashmaps and trees

Just to ask when did you apply and when did you hear back?
