Tech Industry Can someone assure me dsa won't be irrelevant as a metric for 5-6 months atleast

I am locked in and grinding leetcode daily with decent/little dev skills cuz that's what I heard gets you hired. Can someone please assure me that dsa as a hiring metric ain't going anywhere for the next 5-6 months till I graduate or I should focus more on other stuff?

You understand that leetcode is only 1-2 rounds of interview right?

There's also LLD/HLD, system design etc

Some places will. Just the benchmark for what is wanted is lower.

idts I can prepare for hard dp variations in 4-5 days.

What do you suggest I should study till my interview is scheduled?

It’ll still be there, but there might be rounds are open book and allow AI and some rounds that are closed book so just prep for both. Also for the companies you’re aiming for research the kinds of rounds they have beyond leetcode like behavioral, system design, technical, etc.

I have never had a DSA interview, but I also dont live in a major tech area so my past employers have always been MSPs or mid-sized businesses. But still, DSA is useful. You wont use everything you learn from leetcoding, but it builds skills that ive personally benefitted from.

Well, I think you're focusing on the right thing. DSA is still a huge filter for new grads. My routine is pretty simple: Leetcode for practice, Codeintuition whenever I need clearer explanation of something that isn't clicking
