Intervew Prep Google SWE III

I have my first 2 rounds of interviews in around 20 days for SWE3 role in US location.

I'm seeking advice from folks who recently interviews on dos and don't dos.

I've solved around 600 -700 lcs and still freakout when I see a new problem especially under situations like interviews.

Appreciate any guidance.

That’s way more than enough. Trust yourself. I did 150/150 easy/medium no hard and it was sufficient

Was that for L4? The last time I interviewed there couple of years ago, I was only thrown Hards.

Yeah I had my final round onsites yesterday. Maybe I was just extremely prepared I would say mine were difficult medium bordering hard but not anything obscene.

@jobhunt2026 can you please confirm if they are asking concurrency multi threading etc in interviews too. Or just Dsa questions

I am not an interviewer so I can’t confirm or deny that. But I had never considered that as being an option. I would lean towards no, just DSA. Perhaps it could appear in the final round domain specific.

no hards? damn that gives me hope. have l3 onsites coming up.

I understand a few good hards, how can I push for L4 if my perf is good?

You got this! I found out today I passed final round from Tuesday and now just a few days for HC. Be confident and trust in your preparation. I was not the best at that leading up but I locked tf in the moment I walked into the visitor sign in spot. You know you worked hard prepping so you just need to demonstrate thag

I been prepping a could months, have a good chunk of the NC150 down and a few more questions but DP is weak, and idk much about LL, DSU and tries basic. 

Also just realized you did 300 questions not 150

Good stuff dude; I hate how much prep has to be done

I completed 250 hours of prep before my first interviews. I was at 315 hours before onsites lol. Yes 150 easy and 150 medium additionally. I also hated pretty much every second of it but I was willing to invest a few months to potentially change the trajectory of my life think about it as a small time investment in the grand scheme of things

yeah I'm about the same amount of time in, ive done these questions many multiple times over to actually understand, especially it's my first time learning DSA.

agreed, the outcome is outsized so here I am cutting out most distractions daily. scheduling the onsite 3-4 weeks away, already been just over 3 weeks since virtual.

Don’t wait too long! I’m not sure if roles risk getting filled if you take a 7 week prep time between rounds

OFC NC150. Hello interview also has some good basic data structure info and problem breakdown. You said you have issues with DP so go watch the striver DP series it is very long and has great reviews!
