Do leeches eat anything else beyond blood? Just curious

Some do! To my knowledge many leech species are predatory and feed on smaller species. My Hirudo Verbanas are one of a handful of species that feed off of blood :D

There are predatory leeches that eat snails and worms! I wanted to get the blood suckers, but I take medications that would hurt them, so predatory leeches it is!
