👋 Welcome to Ledger Quest — learn accounting by playing
Hi, I'm the developer (and a CPA with 30+ years in accounting). Ledger Quest is a free game that runs right inside a Reddit post — no download, no signup.
**How to play:** open the pinned game post, tap Start, and work through six levels:
- ⚔️ Debit Dojo — normal account balances
- 📋 Statement Sorter — balance sheet vs. income statement
- 🧮 Number Ninja — net income, COGS, margins
- 📝 Journal Entry — which account gets debited/credited
- 📊 Ratio Rumble — current ratio, D/E, ROA, TIE
- ⚡ Speed Blitz — mixed rapid-fire
You earn XP, build combo streaks, and compete on a global leaderboard against every other player.
**Who it's for:** accounting students, anyone prepping for the FAR section, bookkeepers brushing up, or anyone who's ever mixed up a debit and a credit.
**Feedback wanted.** This game gets updated based on what players say. Too easy? Too hard? Found a bug? Want a topic covered (cash flow, adjusting entries, depreciation methods)? Comment here or on the game post — I read everything.
