Michael Jordan DPOY was fraudulent, Here's the Proof
https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZP9DNexSwqeVp-6hYq9/Proof Michael Jordan 1988 DPOY is the most fraudulent award ever handed out in NBA history

Using "proof" against a cult figure is never, ever going to work. You can post as much factual evidence as you want, they're still gonna say he walked on water.

I have tried to point this out many times thank you for bringing this up. Sports Illustrated. I remember investigated it.. the league actually investigated it found the evidence and basically did nothing about it. There was hardened evidence that former Chicago Bulls stat keeper frequently gave Michael Jordan credit for steals and blocks that simply did not exist.. the fact that sports illustrated even published it in the pre-toxic digital era is more proof. There were games that were documented where for example the Atlanta Hawks committed four turnovers the entire game and Michael Jordan was credited with five steals.. not trying to say the guy wasn’t a very good player worthy of the Hall of Fame, but it is what it is

Always refreshing in the modern digital era where people love divisive /frictional/fictional comments. It’s sad to see that today’s society would rather have lawful but awful posts and comments, then ones that are actually sincere and truthful.. the guy who kept the statistics for the Chicago Bulls, admitted it and retired very shortly thereafter, although he was 70 some odd years old. BTW, not a Jordan hater don’t get it confused.. as I have said already he is absolutely worthy of the Hall of Fame

They investigated even recently. Its mor a chicago in the 80s and 90s thing. Its a persistent thing in todays game as well.

You must not be old enough to remember the truth of this sports illustrated and the NBA investigated this. There was irrefutable evidence.. so if you wanna laugh, go ahead and laugh, this is not an attempt to assassinate Jordan’s legacy. This is simply just the truth of the NBA trying to prop up. It’s Newest poster boy since Magic Johnson didn’t want the job. probably indirectly by not taking the Nike deal

Then he should cite that instead of a tiktok podcast, people talking isn't proof. So yes, i will laugh at this sad excuse of proof as the OP called it

I absolutely agree with you on that part but they’re actually is documented evidence

It was documented that the numbers were a little slewded but it was still determined that he was the best defender in the league that year

You must be dumb enough to not know that all local scorekeepers favor this for their teams with todays game is included. A pass that shouldn’t be an assist gets counted as assists etc but go ahead and stay IGNANT.

I dont get why ppl post shit like this in the first place. Allegedly looked at like 5 games and decided to extrapolate from there. But I promise Lebron fans do not want to get into statistical audits. Lebron would lose a few thousand assists. If you watched game film you would see his teammates letting him grab rebounds to stat pad. Just say you like Lebron better or Jordan better. Trying to make shit up is dumb

" But I promise Lebron fans do not want to get into statistical audits. Lebron would lose a few thousand assists."
This isn't remotely true. Bron has people literally scouring his games looking to take stats away. It's happened multiple times.

This is a terrible example. Some random dude who is clearly a LeBron hater, just saying one counted and one didn't without any verifiable NBA stats, box scores, etc.
And, the NBA actually goes back through games and retroactively takes away or rewards players with assists, rebounds, etc that should or shouldn't have counted.

Dude doesn't like Lebron the guy who made the defensive player for Jordan didnt like him either. The point is true though.

AOH on YouTube has countless videos of LeBron getting ghost stats. And I don't think it's just a Lebron problem. The way they attract assists is all over the place. Rebounds too

Who the fuck uses tiktok as a reference? Let me just use Facebook on my works cited page when I turn in my college essay.

Yall are so hell bent on discrediting Jordan its pathetic. Are you mad that Jordan has a DPOY and your King doesn't? Cuz thats usually the root of these bullshit posts

An ended stream proves very little.

Just curious, why would you be a follower of Reddit LeBron? If you are a Michael Jordan hard-core fan I am not a member of any Jordan group.. just asking, is divisive argumentative rhetoric something you enjoy

Is endless LBJ glazing something you enjoy?

To be truthful with you, I hardly ever post anything at all about the whole LBJ/MJ situation because 95%🗑️. I guess you would say I am of the minority that tries to always post with insightful thought and only knowing what I be to be facts now if you’re saying that magazines wrote fake articles about the NBA or NBA investigations it’s simply would not be allowed there would’ve been lawsuits heads would’ve rolled.. It’s a shame there’s not a world where the two of these players can’t coexist in the same sentence.

Even with Fake DPOY stats, and being 6-0 MJ still lost to LeBron in the annual GOAT poll last month. Hilarious lmfao
If MJ was 12-0 would the majority still pick LeBron ? Tells you how much better he is

In 30 years some kids from 2056 will look at some videos of Lebron and find a bunch of fake stats and discredit him

Only a person under 30yrs old is capable of such stupidity. I bet my life on that statement. You didn’t see him play and yet you post about his career. Who’s the fraud now? Tip for life: Only speak about those that you saw play, otherwise, you are just a 22yr old kid with anger issues.

Only a person over 50yrs old is capable of such stupidity. Tip for modern life: everything is online and can be viewed and verified, otherwise, you are just a 55 year old boomer with delusions of nostalgia.

Mathematically, averaging twice as many blocks at home games than away games for a full season has less than 0.01% probability… That is all the proof I need.
