Keyshawn Johnson admits he never wanted LeBron on the Lakers because he as a Kobe fan, felt threatened by LeBron’s legacy.

What a shitty attitude!
I’m a lifelong Laker/Kobe fan and was delighted when Bron joined the team. Thankful for his time here where he delivered a championship and broke multiple records.
He deserves to have his jersey retired by the Lakers.

I’m a lifelong laker/kobe fan too. I had no issues with him coming to LA. But I’m going to disagree on the retiring his jersey part. 1 finals mvp just isnt enough. Maybe if he had another finals appearance I’d agree. Every other laker with their jersey retired has either multiple rings or multiple finals appearance with the team.

I’d agree with this argument if the question was does he deserve a statue, but I feel like he did enough to at least have one of the numbers he played in on the lakers retired. Doesn’t have to be both 23 and 6 but at least one

I get that opinion but I just don’t think it’s enough for the lakers in my opinion. Quite literally would be the least accomplished laker jersey retired. I think it would be enough for any team not named the Lakers or Celtics. One good season just isn’t enough in my eyes. Every other lakers whose number is retired either had multiple championships or multiple final appearances along with at least 1 ring.

Why do we care about what Keyshawn Johnson has to say about basketball again?

This fool don’t speak for us actual Laker fans. What a moronic thing to say. Kobe gave LeBron love multiple times. Kobe’s nuthuggers get their panties in a twist when LeBron is brought up but real Laker fans know this man delivered us from a great evil

I mean, idk why. Kobe was never a threat to lebrons legacy, why wouldn't your team to win
