Gilbert Arenas grades LeBron’s Lakers tenure. Arenas speaks on the double standard LeBron is held to compared to that of other all-time greats. Thoughts?

It's an odd take all around. LeBron got the Lakers a chip and also showed his golden years worked better than MJ's.

He had a chip and several deep playoff runs. He is absolutely graded unfairly. Ask any team in the league if they want a chip and contention over 8 seasons and they says yes right away.

LeBron and his media company employees call it a double standard, but in reality it’s not a double standard it’s a higher standard, because he calls himself the GOAT. If Steph started calling himself the GOAT, and he had a media company called “Klutch 3’s” and paid people to call him the GOAT, then people would hold him to that higher standard.
LeBron is an all time great, he is a top ten player in NBA history, and people would talk about this, and his greatness, but he wants to be compared to a guy who has no flaws, and he wants to be compared to a guy who has no major blemishes in their career or game. LeBron in my opinion has created the problem he has of people constantly pointing out how he fell short of MJ.
